TELEVISION SERIES:
A blend of scripted narrative and reality. The actors will drive actual licensed taxicabs in Los Angeles. The interactions of the passengers will become part of the television show.
SYNOPSIS: Roger, a young English professor, arrogantly snubs the dean of his college, loses his job and then his wife and, in desperation, ends up driving a cab in Los Angeles. He meets Miriam, the dark mirror of his wife, a recent widow on a path of determined destruction, who pulls him with her through a maze of alcohol, drugs and sexual depravity. Together the lovers spiral through the dark side of the city. She is fleeing the memory of the murderous act that united her with her former husband. But the memories are driving her mad, and when she reveals her crime to Roger, he must reject her or fall himself.
